On February 12, 2010, The Manitoba Music Experience Inc. (MME) will present the first of two exciting exhibits at the Manitoba Museum. Our first exhibit begins the same day as The Beatles! Backstage and Behind the Scenes and runs until April 11, 2010.

It is titled "Did You Know?" and is a multi-media display highlighting some of the many legends in Manitoba's music history. It will touch on a number of genres including blues, country, francophone, classical, rock and others.

Simply stated, it is a celebration of the multitude of musicians, songwriters and the incredible wealth of music they created, both legends and current performers. "Did You Know?" is a warm up to our feature presentation called "Shakin' All Over" which will fill the entire Alloway Hall at the Manitoba Museum from July 1 - September 6, 2010. This space will allow us to better present the various genres of talent and music as well provide a live performance area where dedicated events and special concerts will take place.

We encourage you to support The Manitoba Music Experience by making a financial donation, contribute items or services that can be used for both our "Did You Know?" exhibit February 12 - April 11, 2010 or our much larger venture, "Shakin' All Over" at the Manitoba Museum from July 1 - September 6, 2010 helping celebrate Homecoming 2010. By being a sponsor, your company will present itself to the many thousands of visitors to our exhibit. Benefits of supporting Did You Know? and Shakin' All Over are detailed on the enclosed Corporate Sponsorship Package and includes brand awareness through company profile on our website, acknowledgements during live events and logo placement on promotional materials. Our ultimate goal is to have a permanent location for a much larger showcase of the many artists of whom we are so proud of and who are so worthy of on-going recognition.
